Establishing the principles of justice, equality and transparency as a mainstay in building an ideal society within the university and supporting the rights of the student on basis that comply with the regulations, and executive rules. His Excellency the Rector of the University decided to establish a permanent committee for student rights, chaired by the Vice Rectorate for Educational and Academic Affairs, and its headquarters would be the Deanship of Student Affairs, some of its tasks are:
1. Investigation and adjudication of complaints submitted by the student.
2. Providing the necessary advice to students, informing them of their academic and non-academic rights and how to obtain them, and supporting these rights on the basis of the rules, and regulations of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
3. Considering the complaint that the student submits against the decisions issued by the sub-committees in the faculties, within fifteen days from the date of the student signing with knowledge of the decision.
4. Considering the issues referred by the sub-committees that have not been resolved due to constrains that prevents taking the appropriate decision.
5. Submitting a recommendation regarding complaints that have not been resolved by the sub-committees- within fifteen days from the date of receiving the student’s complaint.
