The Deanship of the preparatory year aims to instill the principles of commitment and discipline. Therefore, the student must adhere to the lecture dates as stated in the academic schedule, and the student is responsible for not attending according to the following:
1/ Attendance and absence are recorded in all courses from the first day of the beginning of the study until the end of the semester.
2/ The student must be in the classroom at least five minutes before the start of the lecture, and if the student is late for the lecture, he /she is considered absent.
3/ The student is responsible for knowing the percentage of his/her absence in all courses.
4/ The student is denied entry to the final exam for the course if the absence exceeds (25%) of the actual hours specified for each course during the semester, and the student is assigned in the grade field as deprived (H), and he re-study the course in the next semester.
5/ Excuses are not considered as a reason to exempt the student from denial; because excuses fall within the allowed percentage of absence by law, which is (25%).
